We are excited to announce the start of the application period for the Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on Artificial Intelligence Support of Persons with Disabilities, hosted by our partner university, Academy for Human Development – Belgrade, Serbia
A Blended Intensive Programme is a short-term physical mobility with an online part (virtual component).

The BIP will take place between 15-19 May 2026 in the Academy for Human Development – Belgrade, Serbia. There will be a mandatory virtual part too. (01.06.2026-30.06.2025)
Requirements:
To be a student at Shumen University (undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students).
English Language: Level B1
What do you get?
Erasmus grant: 79 euros per day (example: 5 days physical mobility + travel support about 300 euros)
ECTS credits: 3
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- explain key AI concepts and their classification.
- apply AI tools to support rehabilitation, education, and employment inclusion.
- integrate ethical and legal principles into AI practice.
- design AI-based inclusive solutions in interdisciplinary teams.
- critically evaluate AI’s impact on accessibility and equity.
