Open Application for BIP – Emotion in Motion: Understanding and Managing Emotions Across Life and Contexts
We are excited to announce the start of the application period for the Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on Emotion in Motion: Understanding and Managing Emotions Across Life and Contexts, hosted by our partner university, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Romania.
A Blended Intensive Programme is a short-term physical mobility with an online part (virtual component).

The BIP will take place between 8-12 June 2026 at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, Romania. There will be a mandatory virtual part too.
Requirements:
To be a student at Shumen University (undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students).
English Language: Level B1
What do you get?
Erasmus grant: 79 euros per day (example: 5 days physical mobility + travel support about 200 euros)
ECTS credits: 3
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the interconnections between emotion and cognition.
- Show awareness of how emotions influence behavior, communication, and decision-making.
- Demonstrate knowledge of strategies for emotion regulation and emotional expression across contexts.
- Identify and manage emotions effectively in professional and interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrate increased sensitivity to cultural and developmental differences in emotional experience.
