Open Application for BIP – (Im)Moral Judgments, Decisions, and Behaviours in Our Everyday Life

We are excited to announce the start of the application period for the Erasmus Blended Intensive Program (BIP) on (Im)Moral Judgments, Decisions, and Behaviours in Our Everyday Life, hosted by our partner university, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, Iași, Romania.

A Blended Intensive Programme is a short-term physical mobility with an online part (virtual component).

The BIP will take place between 9th of March and 13th of March 2026 in “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, Iași, Romania. There will be a mandatory virtual part too between 16th of March – 21 st of March 2026.

Requirements:

To be a student at Shumen University (undergraduate,  graduate, and PhD students).

English Language: Level B1

What do you get?

Erasmus grant: 79 euros per day (example: 5 days physical mobility + travel support about 200 euros)

ECTS credits: 3

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the development of moral judgment and perspective-taking across the lifespan.
  • Explain and critically evaluate theoretical and practical approaches to the study of moral and immoral behaviours across diverse contexts, including developmental, educational, and relational settings.
  • Analyse key psychological factors—such as emotions, personality characteristics, and cognitive abilities—that influence moral judgment and decision-making.
  • Apply analytical and discussion skills to examine complex moral phenomena within their social and cultural contexts.
